Pilates For Any Age Group
Pilates are exercises that help strengthen the body in an even way while improving your wellbeing and general fitness. Pilates strengthens and tones the core, abdomen and pelvis and assists in maintaining a healthy posture. Pilates promotes active mind and body concentration as the movements involve precise breathing techniques that Paul will guide you through. Pilates is unique to yoga because during a Pilates class mats and other equipment is utilised while in yoga you don’t use any equipment. Also, the movements in Pilates are completed inflow versus yoga, with static poses. The apparatus used Pilates provide resistance to people who are looking to challenge their body. Pilates can be done by people of all ages from beginners to elite athletes and with different fitness and ability.

Conditions the body
Pilates will condition your body.
A lot of exercises focus on the same muscles which lead to an uneven strengthening of the muscles; hence muscular imbalance which can cause back pain and other injuries. Pilates works on every muscle of the body. Pilates will assist your body to perform daily activities and sport with excellent performance, ease and reduced chances of injuries.

Hence it is the best workout for people who suffer arthritis and back pain. Pilates increases stability and balance.
